Yeah, I know there is a thread for discussions about its features but I wanted this for more general consumption.

I sent a message to @EricBe a few days ago. With some minor edits, I am repeating it here. For reference, I have been a MyFlightBook user since 2006.

So… I have my first student for certificate/rating training in about 15 years and, of course, he already bought ForeFlight and is prepared to use its logbook. I’m hesitant about pushing people in a certain direction. Anyway…

First order of business: TSA endorsement. We pull it up on his iPad. I enter my CFI data and my ForeFlight email address, and scribble my signature. Coming home, I open my Foreflight logbook and expect to see the endorsement I gave. Nope. So I ask ForeFlight. Turns out that in order for me to have a record of an endorsement, I have to do it remotely. And it looks like there is no way for me to coordinate “normal” dual entries or for me to track his progress.

I can do all that in MyFlightBook. I enter dual for the student, check a box, and it's also entered in my logbook as dual given. Plus, if they give me direct access to their logbook, I can get reports of progress toward the rating. Avoids a lot of manual record duplication.

So much for being hesitant about pushing people in a certain direction. This isn’t even close.

That's dumb.
I'm not sure about "dumb." ForeFlight is first and foremost a flight planning and inflight situational awareness tool. I think some the expansion of functionality beyond those which support that core just don't get the same level of attention or depth. And I think that's understandable. So, while I was surprised by this, my reaction was more like, "oh well; I guess recording training isn't what it's really for" than seeing it as something missing.

Of course, not seeing something missing might just be me since I was using MyFlightBook for 9 years before ForeFlight added one to the app and there was never even a thought of switching over.
