Well i am done with work now, and have basically nothing to do until college starts again in January. My lil brother and sister have to go to school all this week though, sucks to be them. I was in 3rd grade on Monday having lunch and recess with the brother. He seems pretty tame on the playground which was generally good for my health. It was incredible seeing how 9 yr olds can conserve patches of polished ice for weeks. I saw some wipeouts that would probably make me break a hip but those youngsters just bounced right off a couple of their friends, ran to the top of the hill, and slid back down. I was thinking an ambulance should've been ready and waiting.
Today I was a 1st grader with sister. Apparently the polished ice/snow conservation skills are taught in kindergarten. They had a pretty short run but it had a coefficient of static friction of about 0.001 I tried it once and gloriously ended up on my side with feet in the air. After that i left it up to the 6 yr olds. Then another kid started throwing ice balls at me from inside the jungle gym. I thought about fighting back but could just imagine getting sent to the principals office. 6yr old and 22 yr old in an ice ball fight, and my stepmom is the guidance counselor. not a good idea.
anyway, had a lot of fun and didnt break any bones. plus i lived through another couple days of school lunch.
