And you guys think the Alero looks silly with a trailer...

The Alero does look silly with a trailer.

That just looks comedic. :)

Nice hitch lock

I have the one that looks like a plain old hunk of steel painted red. Where do I find the ones that look like cicrus cars?:D

You want overloaded? Here's an overloaded tow vehicle for you: :yikes:

Those cars are becoming OSU's campus vehicles. And of course they have to color them in orange and black. It reminds me of a clown car.

Hello Tony,

Does that rig "wiggle" a bit if you meet an 18 wheeler going 80 on a two lane????

:yikes: Rick

I'd hate to drive that thing on the interstate with a crosswind :yikes:. You'd be almost as well of with a unicycle for longitudinal stability.

I rode in one of those (the car, not the plane)! Our airport owner/manager and his wife have one.

Of course if you want a REALLY SMART CAR........

Man I'd love to have one of these at a red light in Atlanta. :yikes:

I happened to see my reflection while driving the Mustang in the drive-through getting coffee yesterday. I look like that - like I'm driving from the back seat. (I had to have the driver's seat modded when it was brand-new so I could drive it.)

I didn't know Smarts were rear-wheel drive.

Hey, Tony.

Just goes to show you can turn anything into a tow vehicle.

OMG!!!!

And I thought _I_ was guilty of some shady "backyard engineering"!!!!

FWIW - I used to move a 26' sailboat around the yard with a Ford Escort. Really.

Nice! I really liked the 4x4 support for the tailgate.

This reminds me that I need to order my hitch for my Protege 5. Can't be XC flying without a retrieve vehicle.

I wonder how many tries it took before he added the extra chains to help hold up the tailgate?

I would want the next heat to be vs. a Tesla Roadster

It's a neat thing, but I don't see anything in the specs about the batteries. I'm curious to know how they are handling 190kW loads from the batteries, and what batteries they are using that stand up to those kind of cycle discharge temperatures.

I was born in Ogden

HEY! I am from Utah, and I would never let anyone see me doing something like that!

I have a lot of family in Utah, and I'd bet half of them have already tried something like that and the other half wish they had.

troy, cool! although its a bit odd that the jeep and the ambulance both show up for the outlanding.

They're 6831 Lithium-Ion cells.

The big secret was revealed on Top Gear. It is faster than about anything for 55 miles. Then the battery dies and you tow it in for a multi-hour recharge.
