Multi-Month ConUS Challenge Update

I can't understand why there weren't any updates in APRIL and MAY. Couldn't have anything to do with your stopping a car with your head or moving in the midst of all that.
So how IS Nick doing? And since I asked, how's Piper?
 
Well, Nick, I noticed that, and I regard the drop-off in airport claiming to be my responsibility, as it seems to have coincided with my drop-off in flying. I am picking it back up, though, and I submitted a claim just yesterday. Having noticed a whole bunch of unclaimed fields in south central Texas, I am going to have to plan a "claiming day" soon.

C'mon folks, let's get busy!
 
I'm going to grab some of the Maryland airports by the end of August. I'm FRZ cleared so I'll do CGS and VKX too.

It's not definite yet -- but:

Arr DFW 9/14
Dep DFW 9/17, arr AUS 9/17
Dep AUS 9/18

So maybe 9/14 (if I can get into town early enough), or 9/19? I may also do DFW-NRT enroute to PVG later this year; if so maybe I'll come in a day early.

Well, I'm still having fun landing at new airports. They are getting a little harder to reach. My closest unclaimed airport is about 200 miles away. I guess that means getting up a little earlier.

Next year, I'm going for some Gulf State airports. My charts show them right on the way to the next Shortwing meeting in Tennessee(from Michigan). Like Frank said in another thread. It's the journey not the destination.
