Mooney pilot goes down & sinks on BC coast

The Accident on Nov. 14 was a goose flying a crew into the hydro project at Powell river. Flying low, in the fog, folllow the GPS and ran into an island, because he cut the corner too short going into the canyon that leads up to the project.

The mooney was a private pilot in his own aircraft. (ran it out of gas)

It was a pressurized 5-place. I should say "is a", as there are still some flying. They only produced 39 of them, late 60's to early 70's, if I recall correctly. No idea how many are still flying.
