Monkey to Oshkosh and Beyond!

Now that @eman1200 has met the monkey, I am bringing him to Oshkosh. I plan on attending Grant and Leslie's party, Jay's H.O.P.S party and a few of the other possible meet ups that have been posted. Many opportunities to pass the monkey on.

Who wants him, and where should he head next. I know Eman was pondering a few ideas.
 
ok, I'll issue my Monkey Challenge here in this thread............

there are a bunch of aviation youtubers out there. some I like and watch often, one in particular I don't, but that's neither here nor there, they ALL put forth a great effort to spread General Aviation to the masses. I, eman1200, would like to see the Monkey fly with TWO of these people. together we will come up with the final list, as I don't know them all, and with YOUR help, get the monkey up and in a video with TWO of these people. the SHORT list I have, and is really just off the top of my head, are these folks:

flight chops
mr aviation101
steveo1kinevo
gary wing (fly the wing)
Jason Schappert (MzeroA)
guido warnecke
john and martha motha fkng KING!

I know there are more. let's gather the list, and I dare you, I DOUBLE DOG DARE you, to get the monkey in the air, on video, with any TWO of these peeps. I promise you that if we do this, 6PC will send you dickpics. might not be his, might be his dogs, I don't know, but gosh darn it, he'll send em! actually, I think OSHKOSH might be a good place to drum up some business with a few of these guys, who will probably be there (I'm guessing, anyways).

I know this might be tough, it might take a while, but in the meantime, let's keep moving the monkey around to anyone who can offer him a good time. let's see if we can cover all 50 states in the meantime. maybe this or the next chapter, he'll end up in North Carolina, but until then, let's keep the MONKEY PARTY GOING!!!!!

oh sht. chemguy, for the record, Dave grabbed my monkey several times at the table in the restaurant, in broad daylight. I don't think it's prison you have to worry about............

thankfully there is plenty room to escape his(Daves or the Monkeys) advances, in a mooney, for 4+hours.

I'm not worried all. not 1 bit I tell ya'.

And I might send steveo a severed horse head if I, uh, I mean the monkey doesn't get a ride to the Bahamas.
 
Mr. Aviation and "The Schapp" as he likes to be called (I made that up) I assume would be pretty easy to get the monkey on board with.

I wanna see the monkey with Guido. That would be pretty entertaining for how dry he is in most (if not all) of his videos.

What I was surprised at is the aviation podcast list "changed" from who I would have said only a few years ago. (Ignoring my crappy podcast...)

Most of the original attendees of OSH Podapalooza aren't on Ep's list. And that's likely due to a lot of pod fading. (Ours included. And @flyingcheesehead 's).

Shows who's actively putting out content nowadays, I guess. I can't decide if that gets a frown or a smiley face.

he summed it up pretty spot on. so he's in FLA, so is steveo. I'm trying to finish up the slide show because that would explain it better than I could, then I'll see if I can get a hold of him.

I meant I'll get a hold of steveo. but sure, send me The Schapp's. I may have to make a trip to FLA. oh wait, I need the monkey. that's ok, we got time to plan and whatnot.
 
looks like Steveo has a meetup event at Oshkosh. maybe if @ChemGuy slips him some homemade meth Heisenberg-style he'll agree to making a monkey video!
 
Monkey is going to have to make it to our annual Jambalaya/Chili party. Yes, it's on again!
Tuesday night. Camp Bacon. 7:15 appetizers. 7:30 dinner. (Worked with Dan Pimmental to push it back to maximize people's time at #OSHBash). Use this other thread for any questions, RSVPs, etc.
Pretty much the same setup as the last few times. Hopefully we won't have a storm blow through just before this time! Hoping for lots of special guests! Maybe even some from Eman1200 list (but probably not)!

steveo aint lookin good 'right now', but with some work I think we can get to him: "I would have to see, I have a lot on the schedule with different meet ups and sponsor talks but if I get some free time would be cool." I think with a little convincing at oshkosh (better convincing than I can do) we might get him onboard.
 
We'll be in HBC beginning Sunday. Not sure how long we'll stay. Depends mostly on weather.

And to move the thread back in the wrong direction: I like Third Eye Blind. Let the innuendo resume :)
 
I just emailed Guido. I should have made my email subject "ignore this email and a monkey dies". oh well, next time.
 
TGMR shirts have arrived! Not sure I can get them to y'all in time to parade around Oshkosh in, but I'll try. I should have them shipped out by evening.
