Has anyone ever gone to the Mojave Fly-in?

Thinking about flying there for a day trip on that Saturday. Just wondering if it's anything worth going for?

It's fun! Lots of interesting aircraft. Wait times at the cafe can get pretty long.

Does Scaled or Virgin Galactic typically display anything? Are the experimental aircraft something more than RVs and Lancair kits?

Last year I didn't see anything "official" from Virgin or Scaled, but Catbird was on display, along with a whole mess of neat planes across the spectrum from homebuilt to recent factory built.

I drove in last year and am seriously contemplating flying-in this year instead.
