That's a little less than what I pay around here for corn-free premium at Mirabito. But New York gas taxes are high.

Real planes can't burn mogas. ;)

The pic is from a gas station just down the street from my house with ethanol free gas. I haul some in gas cans and dump it in the auxiliary tank. The auxiliary tank is on the side of the plane so it is pretty easy even with a 5 gallon can. Too much of a pain to carry up a ladder for the main tanks in the high wing. I need to get a transfer pump so I can get in the main tanks.

Them's fight' words, Fredericks!

Your response didn't help your position.:rofl::rofl:

Actually if I could burn Mogas in my plane I would, but the fuel system doesn't like it for some reason.

I haul in my fuel in a 106 gallon tank with an electric pump, just like a gas station.
I'm paying $1.86 regular or $2.34 midrange ethanol free. I have a STC for my plane.

Hmmm.. Was getting 145KTS all day today burning less than 10GPH 87 Octane MOGAS. Two hours in flight was a little less than $50 in gas.

The STEC 30 wasn't allowed to fly MY airplane today... I'm greedy like that.

93 octane, 0E was $2.49 on the street here last Wednesday. The one station that has it in this area always prices it $0.50 above regular. Even I can do that math as I'm driving by.

;)

You know, I can't remember the last time I had a fouled plug... Haven't given a flip about what the EPA is saying about led...

Wow that's high. How can indiana be more expensive than illinois? Ethanol-free 91 is 2.53 here this weekend

I used to have 0E mogas 1/4 mile from the airport. Then they changed. the next place was 4 miles, then they dropped it. Then 16 miles, they dropped. Now it's 36 miles. That's 72 round trip with a tank in the trailer.

Starts to bug me. I can haul 110 gallons, so it's still worth the money, but it's 90 minutes to save money flying somewhere. the best part is my plane runs better on mogas so I still do it sometimes.

Good question. Not many options for ethanol free gas around here. Still it is a whole lot better than the $5.25 for 100LL at my home airport!

E-free Mogas here is $2.60 and on my way to airport. 100LL is between $3.33-$3.58 so I tend to burn both.

Don't they sell Mogas at the Anderson airport?
