I own an equity share in a club and today I surrendered the keys. I will change my sig line later.

May another and more suitable airframe find its way into my life.

I know the pain. The hope of a new (different) airplane gets you through it.

I'd be sad about the loss of status and capability. OTOH, your bank balance will turn (and stay) positive, so there's that...

Shame you don't live in Florida. I know a great Bonanza that would like a second partner.

Good luck,not a happy day.

The two happiest days: the day you buy it and the day you sell it.

I was happy when I sold my C172 as I had reached a point where I just had other priorities and it sat way too much.

I was happy again years later when I bought my current plane.

We just do what we gotta do to fit the situation.

Was the sale due to plane specific reasons or structure of ownership type of reasons?

I flew to west bumfuk east Egypt to effect a trade. I have no mixed feelings for you at all.

I have to admit, I did have just a touch of nostalgia wishing my wonderful airplane goodbye. But no looking back, Steingar moves forward.

I understand the mixed feelings.

Best of luck finding your next aircraft.

Consider Open Airplane for a while.

The good news is that you are now the aviation equivalent of a single guy, who could, on the oft chance, run into Kate Upton. You're free to peruse and get in on an amazing deal in the future. Count it a blessing.

Ouch - I feel for you.

I had a hard time leaving my old plane on the ramp to its new owner... and that was as I was taxiing away in my new plane. Couldn't imagine being planeless now.

Good luck. In what ways were your previous aircraft unsuitable?

We bought a house shortly before buying the plane and didn't account for the time it takes to get to the airport. There's 2 fields closer to where we live now.

I'm not flying it enough to really justify the continued expense. I am hoping that this creates a vacuum in my life to be filled by something faster, more fun and closer to home.
