The plan was to fly down to Lacrosse (KLSE) and check out the fall colors along the river. They were forecast IFR until 1030am so I planned my arrival an hour later. Nope. From above it looked like a glacier named LIFR took over the Mississippi . The scenery did not disappoint. Winona (KONA) and Lacrosse (KLSE) sit at about 600msl and are under about 800ft of fog in the first picture.
