Happy birthday, my cheerful, peppy, and bubbly friend from the northeast! Hope all is well in Penciltown, and that you get to fly, a lot!

Thanks all.

I actually started my Birthday yesterday at lunch. Invited all my coworkers out for Lunch, not all of them could make it. Several of them got caught in a meeting that overran lunch so they went out and got me a cake. (how sweet) It was Yummy. I then left work early for a massage. : )

I woke up early this morning and went to breakfast at my favorite breakfast joint. There I met with a friend from work who is thinking about joining the flying club. After breakfast we went over to the airport and met with the CFI and she sat in back while I did my BFR. We went back to IPT, dropped off the instructor, jumped back in the plane with her in the right seat. I took her over her house and let her fly the plane. So not only is it beautiful and I got to fly and get my BFR done but I also got to try to get someone else infected by the flying bug. She was a bit nervous when I had her flying but she did a really good job. I see in her all the problems I had to get over when I started. I think she needs a ride or two more before to relax before she starts training but I think she will do just fine.

I just got back from that and I plan to spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing, and maybe getting my patio furnature out of the basement.

Later tonight I've planned to go out on the town with some friends. Last month a KOP Mall I bought a pair of totally unpratical shoes... and I needed an excuse to dress up and wear them. So we are going to one of the nicer places in town and I'm planning on getting all dressed up and having some girly fufu martinis. : )

BTW - Todd was up with Carolyn today... reminded me of old times; especially driving past CB in Paradise on the way home. Hope you're enjoying your new home in PA.

I had a great time out and it's offically not my bithday anymore (EDT at least).

It was a good day that I spent just how I wanted to with good flying, good food and GREAT people (I'll regret that in the morning when I'm sober and Ted doesn't let me forget it ; )

So who was instructing Todd or Carolyn? Oooo CB in Paradise... one more reason to extend The weekend I'll be comming back to MI for my aunts wedding (weekend before Osh). Go flying with Todd, See Carolyn's new house, Fly the Citabra at PTK, Go to CB in Paradise. :D

I chair dances but didn't get up... but by the time the music go going and in 4" heals... I wouldn't have kept upright. :yikes:

Happy Birthday. Talked to Barry the other day and the Citabra is in the shop right now, seems a pilot ran over a taxiway sign and ripped the belly open. May need to check the engine, I think Barry said it also had a prop strike. I have a BFR coming up with Barry next month as well.

Sorry I'm so late wishing you a Happy B'Day, but I didn't spend much time on the computer in the Keys, other than weather- and flight-related stuff.
