Minnesota people: Final installment of the Minnesota Soaring Regatta is planned for August 19/20 at Fairbault (FBL). Cross Country tasks are planned and everyone should be in for a good time. Knowing me, I will probably land out :) We plan on a big supper and good times Saturday evening. Right now i am scheduled to tow in Ames on Sunday but am trying to get out of that. If the Weather looks good though, I plan on being there Saturday at least. Even if you are not glider people, you should come on out and check it out. Im sure help would be appreciated rigging or crewing. Should be a fun time for all.

Well soaring weather is not looking fun for friday and saturday at least. hopefully it will change. im dedicated to be in ames for finishing up an IR student sunday night. i plan on running up for supper saturday night even if no flying is involved

Dang......too bad I didn't know about this sooner. Not having T-Mobile service for most of our trip sucks!! We spent a couple days at the 'family lake' near Bovey. Just rode down to the farm on the north end of Faribault, got in about two hours ago. Perhaps we can stop by the airport before we head down to Mankato on Sunday

I wont be there but the soaring is looking promising. Most of the guys will be launching around noonish i suspect. Get there late morning to check out some beautiful gliders.
