Respectfully, that's possibly true in this specific case because the Cessna pilots had their heads in the iPad.
Neither left or right seat needed to have their heads in an iPad... while their eyes were scanning outside, audible alerts (bearing, relative altitude, distance) would have been triggered by the ADS-B In to both the intercom (likely a G1000, G500, or G3X) and iPad.

I do notice from the track that the 206 was possibly turning to Downwind lower than at least than their 2 previous departures...

When im flying with someone for the first time I give them the tablet to look at and play with. My eyes are outside. I hear the traffic alerts via Bluetooth.

ADSB has its limits and lots of cowboys out there doing weird things.
