Anyone have a good site or link to pull historical METAR information?

Flew some PnP dogs to Borger, TX (KBGD) and landed in the stiffest wind so far in my career. I'd like to get the info to add to my logbook.

Thanks... took me a few minutes, but found the "Full METARS" link at the bottom of the page...

This was the condition when we landed...

METAR KBGD 121851Z AUTO 24020G32KT 10SM CLR 21/M08 A2962 RMK AO2 PK WND 24038/1756 SLP004 T02061083

I need to go find my instructor who helped me with crosswind landing technique in the 182 and buy him a nice dinner.

That was my first landing ever in winds like that and I did a pretty good one one wheel landing. Bryan "SixPappaCharlie" Turner was there to witness it too.

Fun day to fly!!!

Thanks for flying for Pilots and Paws. One day I hope to do the same (if my flight school will let me put animals in the plane).

Perhaps one day.... you'll get another chance at purchasing that 152 that matched the color of your hair (or was it your shoes?)

And did you read Bryan's (SixPappaCharlie) write up of the landing?
