Thinking about swinging up to Hulman Field for the fly-in next weekend. Anyone else close attending?
 
I didn't know they were having one! I fly over all the time... Hullman Approach is a great group of controllers. Where did you see the fly-in? I always look at:

I'd consider going. I'll talk to the wife and see if she's up for it.
 
I had an amusing flight in to HUF, I had decided to divert there (was on an IFR plan) and after about two handoffs the controllers seem to have lost the fact that I was diverting and couldn't figure out why I was so far off course.

Nice FBO, gave me the crew car and sent me off to the Hilton Garden Inn in town.
 
I don't have a link for you Drew...but it's the 2nd from 9:00 am til 2:00 pm, being put on by the University I believe. Might not be the best ever, but something to do to support my alma mater. It is an interesting airport. Class D with an approach control. Great place to do training.
 
I might not make it until 11 or so. I have a fly-in breakfast at BGF first, but I am planning on it.
