En-Route
Most of us probably remember British comedian Marty Feldman only as Igor in "Young Frankenstein." But he had a fairly long career in a number of movies and TV shows.
Back in the early '70s, he had a BBC-TV series. One sketch came out just after the movie "Battle of Britain"...the sketch was basically the classic fighter-pilot-movie plotline, with Marty as the new pilot, fresh out of training, being thrown into combat far before he was ready.
The sketch has all the cliches of the old wartime pilot movies (it even uses the soundtrack from "The Dam Busters")--but is set in the ranks of London taxicab drivers.
I saw it, back when the series was originally on. I remembered it the other day, and got to wondering if it was available online.
But of course:
Part 1:

Part 2:

Total duration is about ten minutes. Not sure why it's broken into two parts, but the sketch is otherwise continuous.
