I have my R3600 radial engine mounted and running, now I have to go through the fuselage. Someone has done a lot of work on this 8a, new hardware throughout, new tail spring, new tailwheel, new brakes, new bearings, completely refurbished pedal and yoke assemblies, and much more.
However, I have rudder pedal issues, specifically the pedals bind with the return springs. Does anyone have a photo of what the pedal/ spring assemblies should look like? Also, what are the stops for the elevator? Down elevator looks like it has an adjustment bolt stop, but there is no mark on the fuselage where a bolt head would be impacting, Up elevator is the sticks hitting the floor?
Plane is a 49 8A, metal wing.
