The pollsters definitely have egg on their faces.
The pollsters, the msm, the Web , the silicone valley CEOs, angela merkel, hollywood and a certain foundation have egg on their faces.
That's Hilarious!
And now the idiots are protesting the results. I wish Trump would put law and order up there as one of his priorities. Read that Sheriff 'Joe' didn't get reelected in Arizona. Trump ought to make him the "law and order czar".
You want him to take free speech away? I agree that they are idiots - mostly because they are being complete hypocrites... they criticized Trump when he said he wouldn't accept defeat gracefully, but are now doing the same thing themselves. However, people have a right to protest and have their voices heard. Even if you disagree with what their voices are saying, our 1st amendment rights are just as important as our 2nd amendment rights. Let's not turn our country into a "czar" land, please.
Protesting peacefully is fine, but when they start destroying private property, throwing things at police, and looting businesses that's not free speech.
Have they started doing that?
Have they started doing that?
Yes. Here in LA they were acting a fool last night. Vandalism downtown. Obstructing traffic. And throwing stuff at police in Santa Ana.
Then, I agree, that they should be arrested.
Remember these protesters, for the most part, all got participation trophies for playing sports. They think their way of thinking is the only way to think. I voted for Trump, I am not wild about him, but in my eyes he was the less evil of the two. In my local election every republican lost, I didn't think to protest or loot yesterday, I had to work to pay for my flying habit!28 were here in LA. Don't know about Santa Ana.
Idiots.
The peaceful transition of power is a hallmark of our democracy. I don't like the result either. But you know what? That's democracy. And every two/four years we have the opportunity to address the things we don't like by voting. Throwing a hissy fit, inconveniencing other people, and damaging property is not acceptable behavior.

I'll drink to that.
That's the text version of the opening post.Trump meeting with Pres Obama today, wonder what's for lunch? Crow?

I am slightly amazed that we did not see a surge in a 'third party' presidential votes; as people either grasped for a palatable alternative, or decided to show the Big Two we are going to do something else because they couldn't get their act together.
So...first amendment bad, second amendment good, right? The protests I saw (as in personally witnessed, not watched on TV or online) were large and peaceful. And now the idiots are protesting the results. I wish Trump would put law and order up there as one of his priorities. Read that Sheriff 'Joe' didn't get reelected in Arizona. Trump ought to make him the "law and order czar".

Blows my effing mind. People weren't marching the streets when Obama got elected (twice).
I thought we lived in a democracy, but according to the press, Hilary Clinton received more votes than Donald Trump, yet he becomes president. Time to scrap the 18th Century procedure which was fine back then, but outdated now. Why on earth is a simple majority vote not used? Perhaps Trump was right and the election was rigged!!

uh...because the representative electoral process is in the Constitution? Why on earth is a simple majority vote not used?
