Got my girl back today after a month down for annual and new autopilot. She lost 23 lbs.

I'm down 12 myself in 2 months. Between the 2 of us we're trying to keep up with these growing kids.

The gfc500 is awesome. I only put 1.2hr on today, but it's pretty impressive. Liking the g5 AI much more than I expected as well.

I think the Six was down 17 after it's gut and overhaul.

Now as for you, take a look factor75.com I lost 30 in a couple months by doing there keto plans. Meals are delicious, and I was skeptical. They keep sending me crap to send free meals to friends...but I don't have any friends.

That's a really nice looking layout. Congrats! The reliability improvement is a nice touch, too.

Good work sir! As I age I find that maintaining my boyish figure gets tougher.

Great looking panel. Perhaps some of that weight loss was in the wallet too ... ;)

Facts

I'm actually a little amazed that they haven't asked for a penny yet. They wanted me to get a couple hours on it and make sure everything is right before they bill me. I think they want me to be in a good mood before I open the invoice lol. I'm not sure they're as lax with aircraft that aren't based on the field, but it still strikes me as unusual.

I did have to fix one setting in the g5; the minimum speed was set at 99 knots, so when I tried to fly my normal approach power settings Bitchin' Betty (I have one now!) kept announcing "airspeed!" and pitching me down below the glideslope.

As I always say, why spend a little money to lose a lot of weight off me when I could spend a lot of money to lose a little weight off the airplane?

Not too unusual if they haven't given you logbook stickers yet.

A few more pounds can be saved by swapping out the KX155 for a Trig TX56a. If you still have conventional wingtip strobes, you can save 1.5 pounds from each power supply by switching to LED.

Also, nice panel!

I'd love to find 5 more lbs to make it a nice even 1500. Unfortunately, I think the wingtips I bought but haven't put on yet will add about 5.

That king radio is heavy. It's been acting up a bit lately too, so I might be forced into action. Spent WAY to much money on this bird this year though. I forgot about the strobe power supply too; i have a single brick in the tail, but it's huge and about 5lbs on its own I think. Trading up the 750 to a 750xi would shave a couple.... The want list far exceeds my ability to pay for it.

Turns out my gtx32 won't change flight id's, so I can't use the compassion call sign for angel flights unless I upgrade. Looks like if I go to a gtx345r, I can ditch the gdl88, and save 5.3lbs...

Unfortunately the $1000/lb rule still seems to be in effect.

But aren't you technically under budget compared to prior years?

Flying is much more fun if you don’t budget.

Too true and as noted, there are always a few things to knock out “while you are at it.“ What happens at 5474? Is that when the bill comes due?
