Looks like I'm an aircraft owner again

Shades of Sky King!!
Congratulations and good luck with it. I've always thought the 310 was one of the prettiest airplanes out there. That one looks VERY nice in the photo.

Ooh... That is a pretty one!

Where is she gonna be based?

Wow.. Very sharp 310!

Will it make an appearance at 6Y9?

Which for the curious can be found in Auglaize County in the greater Wapakoneta metro area.

I won't, she'll be based at Neil Armstrong in Ohio and she'll be rentable while I'm gone.

Congrats Henning

Off topic - every time I hear the Warren Zevon song, "Lawyers, Guns and Money", I immediately think of you (and I've never even met you).

Let me know when you'll be there, Wapakoneta is only an hour from here. Marty Bevill runs the local flight school and is the AOPA airpot volunteer, and a good pal of yours truly (I think you've actually flown with him more than I).

Yeah, that's whose gonna manage the plane, I'll let you know.

That's a pretty looking bird, Henning. Enjoy!

Please do. Can't think of a better guy to manage an aircraft. But why base an aircraft a thousand miles from home?

Because I spend most of my time on the other side of the world in Indonesia and I can't take it there.

You put an oar over your shoulder and start walking away from the sea. When somone asks you what is that thing on your shoulder, you know you have gone far enough and you settle there.

I'm sure the middle of nowhere Ohio is far enough.
