Snow, Rain, Ice, Mountains. Yuck. Time to reschedule the trip.

What a bummer Ed! :( I thought about you this morning when I saw the forecast on TWC for blizzard conditions out in the northern plains. Maybe you could reverse your course and go out by the southern route, wait for all that yucky winter weather to clear out before coming back through the north country? I don't recall how far south your return leg was supposed to be though.

What I'm going do is is push the trip back until June, and then from Oklahoma City I will stop at Gaston's on June 25th.

That sounds like a sound plan. This wx system over us now seems like something typical for mid March. They were talking about the possiblity of snow in western MN tonight. Yuck. You definitely don't want to be in the NE quadrant of a developing low pressure when the temps are close to freezing.

Sorry it didn't work out for you but you'll probably have much better conditions to work with on the next shot. See you then!

This whole spring has been weird down here in AZ. More rain than normal in the early part of the year and cooler than normal temps up until now. The weather weenies are talking about our first 100 degree day this weekend, well beyond our normal warmup period.

I suppose I ought to see if the air conditioning works. Haven't turned it or the heat on in months. :)

You too, eh, Brian?

I think we've got to be close to a record for rainfaill right now in New Mexico - and we're only in May!

We still haven't even hit 90 I don't think.

looks like we might hit 100 today. Get used to those 200 FPM takeoffs Brian. :)

Wise choice Ed! Doesn't look like the best day to fly west from MI...maybe not east, north or south either :D
