Does anyone have one of these NavData cards? Blank, old, whatever...

I am starting to play around with avionics a bit and bought a few units off eBay to experiment with. George T Baker, where I did my A&P, has an avionics program and I am going to see if I can take the installer classes.

Funny, I'm looking for a way to update the database on mine one last time, before Jepp discontinues support. Can't find the USB adapter though, and even if I could, they don't support Mac with it....

Jepp used to sell the adapter but apparently stopped recently.

eBay is likely your best bet now, unless you can borrow one. Some older cameras used those cards too, in case you have one laying around.

Jell sells the blank card for $125, the pilot shops have it too. I have tons of old flashcards like compact flash and etc. but this format looks different. Don’t know if a CF card or something like that would work.

My bad. I thought they used CF cards.

Jepp has the USB adapter for $70 and so do the pilot shops.

My bad. I guess I went cross eyed reading the OP. I was thinking of my really old Apollo GX55

Can you just use an old laptop with a PCMCIA port? Or you can get a PCMCIA to USB adapter cheap on eBay, will that work?

Not sure. Tried doing a little research on using general purpose USB-PCMCIA adapters. Couldn't find any definitive conclusions.

@alfadog
Did you find a solution for upgrading the Garmin database cards? I have a250xl that I would like to update and would be happy to be one of your customers.
