Looking for customs experiences returning from Bahamas to south FL

Have been to Marsh Harbour many times and flown back into Ft Pierce many times to clear customs. Have always had a great experience. Usually only us or another plane when we come through. Agents are very reasonable. Can do lunch at the Tiki Hut while there.

Does anyone have any comments on flying into other spots in south FL. On the next trip, we will be returning from further south (Staniel Cay). Need to know if I should fly to the northern Bahamas to cross over to FPR or if good with another more southern port of entry.

I flew into FXE but no customs. It was from Puerto Rico so all domestic.

Have done both fort pierce and FXE ,both are simple and easy.

I used Tamiami coming from Staniel Cay. I was expecting so much hassle but it was super convenient and the agents were extremely friendly. There was a Citation that took the entire ramp and so there were 7 of us holding short of the ramp waiting for it to move. They stayed after hours to accommodate all of us and the agent told me they were here to serve the taxpayers and were happy to stay. Not sure if I caught them on a good day but I will definetly go back
