Looking for a hangar vacuum

Does anyone happen to know if a vacuum exists that uses a cyclone to separate the dirt (like Dyson home vacuums do)? I am thinking about keeping it for a few years and I'm concerned about availability of the filters.

I'm sick of sweeping the floor. No matter how I sweep, it very slow and inefficient. Tried normal brooms and push brooms (the latter with both walking in one pass and oscillating).

However, this vacuum needs to be able to collect annoying rubbish like aluminum shavings.

Have you tried a leaf blower?

A battery-powered model might be enough.

I use a big "Sears" and wash out the filter when it needs it.

Shop vac! Wet or dry.

Electric blower, cordless or otherwise would make the job easiest/quickest.
