Passed my checkride! Was scheduled for this weekend but looked like snow/rain so I figured I was out for a few weeks until 9:00 last night when the examiner texted and said 'Hey can you do it tomorrow?" I said yep! So did a few more practice takeoff's/landings this morning before he got there and then had a 3 hour oral exam that was more of a story telling session....every area we discussed he had a story of what happens if you do the wrong thing so was very interesting! Flight portion went great even though we had winds close to 20kts at times at the airports...glad I practiced my crosswind landings! Now on to commercial!

Thanks guys! Huge load off my back! Been a lot of studying to this point but felt good when the examiner said everything was well above standard! Learned a lot on here as well.

And the name thing....not sure where that came from. It's what my buddies have called my for years so I just roll with it!

Nice! I wish I'd had your DPE. Although my oral was half that of yours, mine said several times that his examination "prohibited him from instructing." (which would be what happens if you don't do something)
