anybody's home town got a team playing? it's been a coupl'a years, but when my old hometown team was in it, it was fun to follow the games. even without a team it's fun to watch.
 
Rancho Santa Margarita (West) is the closest to my hometown.
I went to Cal State University, Fullerton whose only real sports success has been in baseball.
 
No local team,but it is fun to follow.
 
One time I lived close to a school that had pee wee football. Really fun to watch. Get all the kids lined up, they start running into each other and fall down. Then the whistle is blown to signal all the parents to run out on the field to pick the kids up and line them up again.... I can't tell you how many times the kids (not necessarily the ball carrier) would run in the wrong direction, then the parents all start screaming and pointing which way to go, which sometimes the defense guys would turn and run in the other direction....

    LLWS is defined as wind shear below 2000 feet AGL, other than convectively induced, resulting in an air speed loss or gain of 20 knots or more. LLWS potential information is included after AIRMETs for moderate turbulence and/or sustained surface winds greater than 30 knots or statements indicating no significant turbulence is expected.

Not our home team, but we are rooting for Walla Walla. IMHO Little League baseball is the best sporting event on TV.

Fond memories of the LLWS. Went with the Delaware team in 2003, first to make it to Williamsport. My brother was the manager, we had a great time and shared many memories of our father who planted the baseball seed in both of us.

I'm 13 but I'm using one of those fancy LLWS birth certificates everyone always questions.

It's not so much that you sent it out one time (which was once too many) but the fact that you KNEW where to get it and actually went through with the purchase. :p
