En-Route
A flight of 7 flew a commemorative flight for Lucky Lindy along the route known to have been the last US land prior to his flight across the Atlantic. The group included a Stinson, WACO, and a Stearman. The group departed out of Mansfield, MA (1B9) SE to Taunton (TAN), crossing Bridgewater, Hanson (CRANLAND -28M), then flying over Marshfield (GHG). Along with Lindy, this flight also celebrated the life of George Harlow for whom Marshfield was named. George passed away this week. He spent over 47 years on the Marshfield Airport Commission.

The weather didn't exactly help our plans. Most of the planes that promised to show were grounded by a Low that took up position off the Ma coast and kept the area covered in clouds until about 9AM.
There was a camera crew from FOX there to cover some of the event but I've yet to find anything else on it.
