And Boy is she fun! A bit of a handful on the ground, but I still enjoy the heck out of it, and am looking forward to many more hours! Hauling skydivers in it, about 12 minutes from door shut to drop and 4 minutes back down.

Nice,enjoy your time with her.

What's with the long nose? Almost looks like there should be a prop on the end of it, lol.

Nice! Have you flown a radial powered Twin Beech? I'm curious how the handling compares.

It has about 450 pounds of ballast to make up for the CG of the radials to turbines.

I was thinking, "It looks like an 18 that got turbines and lied a lot"

Just don't call her by your ex's name. They really don't like that.

Nice! I was thinking Beech 18s were a thing of the past at drop zones.

Not yet!

Ground handling is probably similar, but I bet the turboprop is probably a lot easier to get slowed down.

A Twin Beech with PT-6s would make an awesome jump plane.

That's what I figured. All the turboprop conversions I've seen have that long nose. The CG in the Beech 18 as it was built with the radials tends to get aft very quick when you start putting stuff in the back.

Wonder how it compares to the infamous king air, aside from it's obviously was cooler :)

Much easier with beta!

That looks like a lot of fun. Enjoy flying it.

They all got to be stroked, but I bet that old b!tch really requires it.
Its kinda like a super clingy girlfriend, as long as you give her 100% of your attention things go mostly smooth, look for a second and she will let you know!
