ah! obviously. Wow, I was totally thinking about it backwards. Makes sensehave the descending blade
Thanks, that what happens when you're posting late at night after a long day. I totally had this backwards in my head. In the clear light of day it makes perfect senseP-factor. Asymmetric thrust from the downward going blade at high angle of attack, such as in a climb after lifting off the runway. Better to have the the downward going blade closer to the fuselage to minimize the moment arm creating yaw in the event of an engine loss.
