I saw a demo of a smiliar product (don't know if it was this particular unit) with a Palm Treo phone...it's a GPS receiver that feeds the data to one of the display softwares mentioned in the ad. The receiver and display software together do what we're used to seeing the full GPS units (handheld or panel) do.
