Landing System Stays In Brunswick

Good. Is there a difference between military and civilian ILS when it comes to remote monitoring ?

??? I'll let those who know respond to your question?

I wonder whether they'll get the FAA to maintain and test-fly the system. If the FAA puts in a nav facility, they usually pay the upkeep. If the state puts up a terminal VOR, they foot the bill. It sounds like this airport authority is going to be on a tight budget, paying for maintenance on a 1.5mil piece of equipment may be a challenge.

I know little else regarding maintenance of the system. Though perhaps meaningless to that factor, the company that runs the FBO at Norwood, MA Airport(and FBOs in other states) has been named FBO for Brunswick Landing. Whether any of the ILS maintenance shall fall opon them is not within my knowledge.
