Interesting blog, 46 years on the bench, FAA certified and FCC licensed, currently at about 900 repairs a year, guessing over the last 30 years 155(A)/165(A)’s have been my biggest time consumers. I’m asked all the time for “uncertified” repairs, sure am glad I don’t have to do log entries, as that is the gotcha.

I had good luck with Pacific Coast Avionics up in Oregon on 2 different KX-155’s - seem to have good parts supplies and fast turn around with all the paperwork.
