Below is a video of the f-16 riding a wheelie with the afterburner on for the crowd. Clearly, the pilot was hotdoggin and ran out of runway. OSH got the better of him or her. Lots of paperwork, and a career ending move IMHO.

That actually looked like a very normal landing for an F-16. We have a wing of F-16's based at the home 'drome and they land and hold the "wheelie" like that every time. And after he gets the nose down it looks like he's got no brakes at all.

I'm not seeing any "hotdoggin" at all.

The accident board is being convened, but the results will remain classified. The rest is all speculation.

Interesting that they take the space to specifically mention that "the engine nozzle appears to be in the fully open position during the landing roll".

Um, that's what it SHOULD be doing.

Again... From what I've seen of them landing here with nobody to "hot-dog" for, that's normal.
