KLN89B dead after GPS rollover

Yes, not finding itself. Always been 100%
Up until now.
Going to check the date and time this weekend.

I don’t recall when the rollover was, but the one I use occasionally was working fine last Saturday.

It was April 6-7.

The rolliver, even if it affects the 89b should in theory effect dates, not positioning. Besides the 89b is old enough to have been through a rollover before.

Interesting to hear what happens.

If it is just a bad backup battery, they used to be in stock at Mouser.....pretty easy to replace as well...good luck.

Yes. $6.00 at Mouser and about 40 minutes to solder a new one in. King wanted $400 to replace the battery!

Went out today and it works perfectly, I hate intermittent faults
