Any pireps on kids headsets? Currently using passive shooting earmuffs with ipod earpod underneath so they can hear whatever electronic they are playing, but it would be nice to communicate without yelling or hand signals.

Obviously super expensive but depending on the age of the kid, I would say a20s should work since they can grip together.

I took my old DC h-10-13.4 and converted. DC sent me the conversion headband kit for free. Took my like 10 min to change it over and worked well.

I should also mention my kids are small 5 and 7. (the 10yo has a melon head and can wear adults ;)

I've had good use out of the PilotUSA pink one on the page Travis linked when my daughter was 5. That model has an input for 1/4" audio wire from MP3, DVD, GameBoy, etc. She likes to chatter to herself, so I've pulled her mic wire on more than one flight to avoid her breaking squelch and pouring cabin noise into my head non-stop (the avoidance of which is why I wear headsets in the first place). She can hear me; I ask her yes/no questions or just read her lips.

For my son, we used the Peltor Kids passive muffs from age 2-3 with good effect.

The key thing is to try them on for fit and make sure you get a good seal on the cups above their jawline.

We sell ALL our custom headsets in kids sizes. :) They all integrate with the iPod, game system, so they can listen to whatever they want, and still talk to you and hear you.

The link is in my signature.

When my kid was 6, we figured out he could use an adult headset (DRE 1001 or DC 10-40) with the headband adjustment all the way in. Younger than that probably wouldn't work.
