I just moved PoA to the new server in Nebraska. I'm aware that LiveChat isn't online yet--I'm working on it...please report any other issue.

Good move Jesse, now get your checkbook out. I'm sure our govenor will be trying to collect some fee from you. :D

Livechat is online...all services should be restored...downtime from migration was less than 7 minutes.

Seems fine. Cute message during the migration. Thanks for everything!

Whoa. We live in there!???!

Is that just strange or what! Kinda like looking into the solar system or something.

That home looks awfully cramped. And, I felt squished in that fiber going halfway across country. Yikes!

Great job!

Is it RAID 1 or RAID 0+1 or RAID 5?

I don't imagine POA needs even 1TB of space. Right?
It will be RAID 1 in the very near future. GASP..it isn't right now. One of the two hard drives I ordered for it was dead on arrival.

As far as how much PoA needs..well..this server could host all the boards and still look completely idle. We won't be hitting a resource limit anytime soon.

Thanks for your hard work, Jesse, especially over a holiday weekend.

P.S.--I love the new server's name (clearprop).

Ahh... well... does all that incomprehensible stuff mean it will work? :D

I just moved PoA to the new server in Nebraska. I'm aware that LiveChat isn't online yet--I'm working on it...please report any other issue.
Next time you move the sever I would appreciate it if you would minimize the down time!

Geesh, I was without PoA access for like 10 minutes!!!

:D:D:D

Good job on the move.

From the NewEgg reviews it looks like anybody who buys 4 drives gets 1 or 2 DOA.

I gotta look at what you bought.

I'd go for 0+1 (aka RAID 10) if you have 4 drives and 4 carriers. I even planned on doing that on my home PC but I never got a round tuit to add the second 2. I just decided to buy 4 new drives and replace them all.

Holy hell, talk about overkill.

Are we hosting a FSX server anytime soon?

oh great ... what Jesse DIDN'T want to show you was a photo of the data center ...

Dunno, since the upgrade is now running in a Commodore 64. :D
