Comedy Central is having advertisements about the show Tosh.0 and mention a "web redemption" for Tron Guy. Tonight, Oct 8, 10PM.

So, Jay, been busy recently? :D
 
Wife and I just watched it.
So should we all write into Tosh.0 and say Tron Guy is also an instructor with a Tron plane he should take a lesson. Maybe Jay could make more money off the show?
 
Man, having met him, I'd hoist a glass with Jay anytime.
 
I haven't seen posts from Jay lately....did they forget to let him back out of the computer? Maybe he didn't want to leave the cyberworld -one could do worse than the girl he rescued.

He posted a little while ago after the 6Y9 flyin and said the plane was just sitting there. I think he is getting hit with a double whammy. The issue with the plane design and the economy do not make for a good sales environment.
 
True dat, and he needs to see a boatload of cash because the aircraft is very tricked out (read expensive).

Heh. Unfortunately for my chances, she's Daniel's girlfriend.

No, I haven't sold the airplane. At this point, I'm pretty sure the bank will wind up with it; there's almost no chance I'll be able to sell it for what I have to get out of it.

I haven't been on here because it's just too painful for me.

Really sorry to hear that Jay. I remember how excited you were when you first got the plane and reported it on rec.aviation.

Bummer, but while you still have it, have you been trying to market instructing in it? Possibly renting it? Leaseback with an FBO?
 
Saw you on Comedy Central. My GF asked if I really "knew" you. I said YEP!

Take Hennings advice. Try all avenues before giving it to the bank. This recession won't last forever.

I truly hope you can pull through Jay. You have an awesome aircraft and I'm certain you are a good CFI.
