I didn't know who this guy was, but I have heard of Jackass. Ryan Dunn.

Apparently a 190 MPH Porsche will burn to a crisp if you overstress it.

Heard that, don't know the specifics. Hey if you have to go in an auto crash, might as well at least make it memorable.

I never saw the TV show, but I caught one of the movies. Utterly hysterical, brought out the high schooler in me. According to Mrs. Steingar, that isn't all too difficult.

Where I'm from you don't speak poorly of the dead.
He was someones friend and son.

RIP

Sorry, didn't see one speaking poorly. Making poor decisions leading to one's death was mentioned, however.

Young, imagined invincibility, and presumed consumption of large amounts of alcohol (given photos taken shortly before crash) do not make for a good outcome.

I really feel for the families involved. Hope they can find comfort from each other.

I feel bad for the pax. Less so for the driver. He made a decision and lost. Pax trusted driver.

If the driver was that far gone down the rabbit hole the pax also exhibited poor judgement. Emphasis on the IF. That said, there wasn't all that much left of the car. They didn't do that hitting a deer.

He was a local Philly guy (West Chester). From all accounts a good guy, but had a 2005 DUI. If he was driving drunk, he certainly did not learn from his prior experience, and exhibited incredibly poor judgment.

I feel bad for both him and his passenger, but like many more for the passenger. :(

Yep but Drunk drivers loose all respect from me, IF he was drunk (and he twitered a picture of himself drinking shortly before the crash) he earned his fate.

And if I ever die because I was driving drunk I expect you all to say the same of me:yesnod:

Not far from home or work, all over the news here. Some long skid marks leading to where they went off the road,... :(

The force of impact shattered the vehicle into several twisted and blackened pieces, leaving the Porsche 911 GT3 unrecognizable except for a door that was thrown from the crash and not incinerated. A 100-foot-long tire skid marked where the car left the roadway.

A porsche doesn't leave much more than a cirrus, post crash, if you use this scene as a comparison.

R.I.P.,... condolenses for the families involved.

What a shame to waste such a nice vehicle.

News today reported that his blood alcohol was over twice the legal limit of .08.

Darwin at work here.

Too bad that his and his friends actions had a negative influence on the people around them. Their selfishness is leaving a void in the hearts of their loved ones.
