Just to show what a small world aviation is, I was talking to a couple of pilots from Wisconsin on the ramp Sunday, and they commented on a Lake Amphib parked on the grass. I mentioned that I knew someone who was opening a hotel in Texas with rooms named after floatplanes, and they mentioned that they knew a guy named Jay who had a hotel in Iowa with aviation-themed rooms!
