Just finished having my Musketeer painted at Ace Aircraft Painting in Bartow, FL (KBOW). As soon as I can get a little good weather I'll fly her home. I'm really pleased with the way this turned out.

The artwork on the tail is airbrushed. We first tried a decal but couldn't get the whites to match. Ace's airbrush guy is really really good. I saw some other examples of his work and was very impressed.

Overall I'm very happy with the way it turned out. The folks at Ace were great to work with, very helpful and cooperative, quite committed to doing quality work.

Wow, that looks great!

You saw the old paint close up, so you know how badly she needed this. They did a very thorough job, too, fixing the bits of hangar rash, replacing all the external screws, new camlocs on the cowl, chroming the handle over the step, etc., etc.

Once the paint has had a little time to cure, I plan to do a Corrosion-X treatment.

That looks sharp... Love the white on top and the drop shadow on the lettering.

Absolutely beautiful, and the tail-art is the cherry on top! You must be over the moon.

I certainly would be if I could ever fly her home! Wx has been bad for the last few days. Home base is only 8 lousy miles away; if it weren't for the traffic on US17 I'd just taxi all the way.

I bet if you just start taxiing her down the highway, people would make room. Who knows, you might get a police escort too!
