iPad w/ GPS and Garmin Pilot

i have had foreflight and fly q the last couple of years and have had the location on the charts, I started using pilot and there is no location the charts,

I do have the gps chip but the real-time position on the chart is not working, any ideas?

I used it flying for the first time today and my position was never on the chart

Is your position on the chart when you aren’t flying?

only thing I can think of is you don’t have ownship turned on.

Is location services turned on? Its gotta be a setting issue.

Yes van, that was the issue

I did find the setting deep down inside the bowels of IOS, It works now
