hello all,
New to the forums and wanted to introduce myself. I am enthusiastic about all things General Aviation. That said it is my dream to own my own plane someday. Yes I know, it’s expensive lol. Renting what I want or need is always challenging.

Short about me, regional pilot living in the Denver area. I fly out of KAPA, and though I’m not looking to build time, having another pilot along is always fun.

I’m open to any tips, advice, criticism, and money donated directly into my flying account ;)

Yes I do love flying. It’s funny how even after all these years I’d still rather fly GA. More hands on and adventurous I guess.

Only hard part is convincing the Mrs. to let me funnel money into the adventure!

I had zero hours July 2017 and received SEL cert. in Feb. 2018 at 69 hours. Feel free to ask about my experience.

Thank you! Denton eh ? I grew up in TX and my brother lives in Frisco. What GA airport do you fly out of around that area?

I rented for many years. Then life got in the way, I stopped flying. Then with the help of a friend, got back into flying, bought an airplane. I have been happily burning lots of money on the airplane ever since I bought it. Was it worth it? Hell yeah!

You only live once. Paying the mortgage and saving for retirement is important, but living your passion is also very important. Otherwise you'll wake up an old man one day full of regrets about the things you didn't do.

Welcome to POA. I think you'll feel right at home with the fine folks here.
 
Pascal, you are right in so many ways. Us young folks call it YOLO! You only live once lol. I know I know, I used an acronym in the explanation of another acronym.

But really, at this point I’m taking necessary steps to get my finances aligned so not only can I acquire a bird, but so I can operate it as much as I want! Actually that’s the biggest reason I’m on the forum. So much great info, and many great people here. Hopefully in relatively short time Ile have my bird
