GW Bridge. I didn't know they had the technology that long ago. GG Bridge was not built until the 1930s.

What is surprising the amount and degree of change that occurred in and around that period. At the beginning of the 19th century, America was mostly rural and the economy agricultural. At it's end America was mostly urban and its economy industrial. That degree of change in that much time is unprecedented in our history.
