It does as far as the flight plan is concerned (the 91.173 requirement), i.e., you don't need separate flight plans for each aircraft, but IAW 61.3(e), each PIC (not just the flight lead) must have instrument privileges (IR or ATP). Different rules, different requirements.Hmmm...so then, the letter of the law says to fly in IMC outside Class G airspace, you must be on an IFR flight plan.
Does being part of a flight count as being part of a flight plan?
