In-N-out my not be nirvana, but I sure do enjoy a double double animal style when I visit Cali.
Amen to that. Five Guys is way overhyped. To me, the most overrated and underwhelming place was Five Guys. Overpriced, soggy and greasy, and you have to put your own condiments on. That's fine for the AM PM hot food section, but not at a restaurant where you are paying top dollar.
TETO, I really like a little cheeseburger all the way, it’s a perfect balance of flavors. The double doesn’t work as well, too much meat flavor, too little of the others. Oh, and their fries are fantastic.Amen to that. Five Guys is way overhyped.
But if you walk South on Sepulveda you will come to a Habit Burger a couple of blocks down. Not that I would suggest that anyone fly in to LAX for a meal.Parking at Atlantic and walking 1.5 hours around the approach end of LAX? Riiiiiight.

I love a good whopper from time to time too though. That's sure a lot more photogenic than a Burger King unboxing.
the line at that one is terrible! The one by LAX has nice plane spotting. Not sure if that is small enough for you but they are friendly.
