Slip mine with full flaps and you might end up being a monument at the end of the runway stuck in the ground tail first like a crucifix pointing up at the sky ....

What are these flaps everyone speaks of? I remember briefly something about them. I prefer point my big nose down 30 degrees and add full power!
 
I thought flaps on
A C172 were only there to hit your passengers in the head while they were standing dumbfounded right in the door.

A plane can takeoff on a front porch if you are a Carbon Cub.

Welcome...KWVI is my home field as well.

I though we might be able to get along, but I fly a high wing...oh well...

Actually I low low wings...especially when they are tied down next to me so I can taxi right into my pushback space!
