Touchdown! Greaser!
Well folks,
I haven't said it officially anywhere, but it should be obvious: The Pilotcast is no more. Between me having small children, our founder Pilot Mike passing away (and owning the domain and some of the accounts without ever sharing them), and us recording a "we're back" episode about every 8 months or so, it was time to admit the truth: Podfade got us..
However - Pilot Bill Williams, who had done the Student Pilot Cast before he came on board the Pilotcast, is back in aviation, working toward his CFI, and has started his show up again. https://studentpilotcast.com/
Bill is one of the people who I can just sit and talk with for pretty much forever, and after doing just that a couple of days at Oshkosh, we are now collaborating on a segment called "Beyond the Checkride". I have long thought that there are a lot of things that people should learn about flying that are not covered anywhere in the PTS/ACS, and so we're going to talk about them now that I have a few thousand hours of bopping around the country in mostly single-engine airplanes and have learned a thing or two the hard way.
They start in Episode 73... Enjoy!
