Thought about it but after waiting for all paperwork and what not after checkride I wanted to leave ASAP so did not and WX was good enough at that point but had that in the back of my mind as an option.

Congratulations! Sounds like a great day to knock out that approach. Did you file IFR on the way back? I took my IR checkride a few years ago with Steve Davis at KOSH and filed IFR for my trip back to KMWC even though it was clear and a million that day... just because I could!
 
Thanks. Thought of filing for flight back but after all the ground/paperwork I really wanted to rush back before WX so did not file.
