If Sac Arrow Came to Your House...

...Drink wise, I was almost going to post a separate thread on this but I have noticed an interesting trend in beverages.

American Vodka.....

whadya think about Tit'os? I recently got my hands on some of that and I'm not sure who enjoyed it more. I don't drink it straight up but mix it with OJ or Cranberry and it's real smooth. like it.

I like it when I order a screwdriver and they ask what vodka I want. I say "The cheapest you have, but for the juice use Tropicana Pure Premium w/pulp"

Premium vodka in OJ? Never. Premium OJ in "well" vodka? Thank you, may I have another?

I read absolutely zero post....
I would offer him exactly my intake.

A HUMUNGOUS pour of JD with a splash of Diet Coke. (When I say HUMUNGOUS I mean about 12 ounces... just the Jack).

And whatever leftovers we couldn't finish th night before (likely takeout).

I would also offer him the awesome duty of scooping the car litter.

Dunno, I've never tried it. I've seen it sitting on the shelves.

I would keep him away from my Asian wife.......:)

For what it's worth, I had BBQ with @Everskyward in San Francisco a while back, and I was able to contain myself. (It wasn't easy, but I managed.)

are you saying that in the Vodka-world, to which I am not a part of (my DAD drinks vodka, see what I'm saying?), that Tit'os is upper eggshellon, er echelon? I cirrusly have no idea.

Yeahbut I'm 3rd generation, so while I might look Asian, I'm guessing my mannerisms and attitudes are pure American. Not what guys are usually looking for when they think of the stereotypical Asian woman. ;)

But, you come equipped with some pretty cool toys!

Is that what you kids are calling it these days :happydance:

Are you referring to BBQ or The City?

Humor? BBQ is serious bidness. It comes with a side of slaw...unless you live in one of those places where it comes UNDER a side of slaw.

Oh don't get me started. The day when I see a dime sized sliver of brisket balancing precariously on a formed thimble shaped cone of cole slaw in the center of an oversized dinner plate with barbecue sauce drizzled over it in a zig-zag pattern, is when I know it will be time to leave California.

If Sac showed up at my house I'd assume he was trying to sell me something or a Jehovah's Witness and I'd tell him I'm not interested.

I don't know Sac and he doesn't know me...so how'd he know where I live?

A brief grilling encounter is hardly the same as full on BBQ. Good BBQ takes hours...
Hours in your cold hangar didn't sound very appealing. ;)

Almost getting too warm for BBQ now...

Well there is a picture of you on your avatar so........

I making some Mac and Cheese right now Sac, if you want the upgrade from hot dogs. Might even put some chicken in it. :)

That is probably a good compromise, and based on what I am smelling right now, I suspect that is what I am going to have to eat. Or something similar to it.

Those days are coming....

You know, if he's not into the hot dogs, there's always Mac and Cheese...

Man, good eatin in the Duehr house. :) If he came to my place, it would be hot dogs cut up in hormel or stag chili, served with saltines and sour cream. If i'm feeling extra hospitable, we can wash it down with coors light. :)

I went to a BBQ restaurant somewhere in CO a long time ago. I ordered the brisket. It came out on a plate, with whatever side. Waitress set it down in front of me, then looked at me and asked what what wrong. I said, "Where's the rest of it?" There were like 3 slices. I heard that place went out of business shortly afterward.

Fyi it has been set in stone...

Cut up hot dogs in hormel or stag chili, over rice, is in the standard meal rotation at the Sachouse.

Nice.. no rice here, makes for a lower carb chili dog :)

I'm not the one that makes it. It it were up to me I would do chili dogs wrapped in Romaine, not that I'm big on hot dogs to begin with. Now, a chili dog made with a Johnsonville brat on the other hand...

mmmmm love me some brats.. Boiled in a good dark beer with a whole rough chopped onion. finished on the grill and served with hot mustard

Now there is an annual event called the Tour de Fuzz, which is an organized ride/race in Sonoma County. There are a few of us from the Purple Board who do this every year, and Stsflyer (he's over here too but rarely posts) hosts us at his house in Rohnert Park. He serves tri tip. We start by drinking all the free beer and wine after the ride, then go to his place to start the real drinking. I usually wake up in the morning afterwards on the downstairs living room floor.
