I made this Ericson 35 half hull because I couldn't find one to buy.
does it count if it was a team effort?
Stunning. Really.
It's just what we do. Here's one of the order I'm working on now. These are tiny, I'd call them a "scale model" more in the spirit of this thread.I've gotta hear the story behind that
I've seen his work before on another forum, yes! Very creative. I can fold a paper airplane it looks like this.
Yeah? You should SEE how well I play the radio.
Longaberger?
You were not far from the fly-in at all!!!
Yes, I know and I thought of you all at lunchtime when my 2 friends and I were eating at the Longaberger restaurant, but we had a full schedule of events on Saturday that ended up being so worth it! One of my friends' tickets got drawn for a huge prize and she ended up with about 30 free baskets, some retired and in mint-y condition. The weather was beautiful on Saturday and I'm happy for you there was a great turnout!
I did get a very nice text from Ed saying that baskets were more important, so I know he understood why I missed the get-together. LOL. Looks like the next lunch is at KBMI though, which is less than 50 miles from my home base, so it would appear that I don't have an excuse. I promise I will try harder to make the next lunch. At least I can drive to this one even if the weather sucks or the plane is broken.
Just picked up model building again after about 15 years.
That is some great detail in those models. The weathering on the pickup is amazing. Show us more.
